Responsibilities
As
the Senior Director of Sales & Marketing for Mather LifeWays, TEG partner
Bruce Rosenblatt oversaw the sales and marketing efforts of a $92 million start-up
CCRC.
Located within a master
planned community in the northwest sector of Tucson, the 240-unit luxury resort-style
community was both Tucson’s first CCRC and the company’s first venture
outside of the Illinois market.
Extensive research was needed to determine
feasibility of a project of this scope. In addition, due to the lack of
a CCRC in the area, a large amount of attention was required to educate the area
about the value of a continuing care community and the justification of an entrance
fee arrangement. Responsibilities included conducting due diligence & competitive
feasibility analysis of area; facilitating focus groups; budgeting and strategic
planning from start-up to sustained occupancy; hiring, training and supervising
sales staff & office personnel; development of office policy and procedures;
lead management; overseeing advertising and public relations agencies; event
planning and upgrade selection process. Sales initiatives achieved 85 percent
presales in only seven months which surpassed all pro forma milestones and financing
requirements.
Splendido received three
National Association of Home Builders’ “Best of Senior Housing” awards
in 2006.
