Responsibilities
The
Ehlers Group was selected as a member of the development team for
an active adult community planned in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
The 756-acre site would have been the largest community of its kind
between Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, with an estimated build-out of
1,925 single-family homes in five village neighborhoods in an anticipated
timeframe of 7-10 years.
As a team member,
TEG participated in the selection and review of various consultants
including the advertising agency, sales office merchandiser, amenity
architect and land planner.
Planning and implementing
with the development team, introductions with town leaders, media
strategies, and planning of marketing initiatives for the community’s
launch were among initial responsibilities.
In addition to the strategic
launch of the active adult community, TEG would be responsible for
builder and customer communication strategies through sell-out.
TEG also developed
a “Boomer’s Guide to Gettysburg” which was to be the
basis of an informational handout of activities and areas of interest
for potential boomer residents.
