Responsibilities
In 2004, The Ehlers Group was selected to strategize and implement marketing and communications initiatives to generate referral leads and garner ongoing positive press coverage.

The Palace at Kendall campus, situated on 12-acres, is comprised of The Palace Suites, a luxury independent living community; The Palace Royale, which provides “catered living”; The Palace Renaissance, a traditional assisted living community, and The Palace Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, providing long-term care for those who need skilled nursing care and/or short-term rehabilitation.

TEG conceptualized events to promote the community which in turn attracted local and national media attention; securing over 200 media placements.  A monthly consumer-oriented newspaper column, entitled “Ask Helen”, was ghostwritten for the company’s president to address the concerns of caregivers.  The series received a Mature Media “Merit” Award in  2005.During our engagement, the company celebrated it’s 25th anniversary. 

TEG helped strategize the event, invited dignitaries to speak and secured a proclamation from Miami-Dade County.  A special newsletter, which won a 2005 “Gold” MarCom award in the Newsletter category’s Creativity and Design division, was created for the anniversary celebration.

TEG also handled public relations for The Palace Management Group’s assisted living community in Homestead, Fla.—The Palace Gardens.
