
Janis R. Ehlers, Principal
For
over 30 years, Janis has managed various aspects of strategic marketing
programs for a wide variety of residential real estate developments,
especially those geared to active adult and retiree senior consumers.
Drawing
on both corporate experience as well as that of a consultant, she
has opened more than 55 residential communities throughout the country
and Puerto Rico. Associated with trade associations geared to
housing for specific consumer groups, she is a recognized leading
expert in both active adult and service-enriched senior housing.
Having
received the prestigious designation Certified Active Adult Specialist
in Housing (CAASH), Janis has also received numerous awards for her
work in the housing industry. In 2002, she authored
Marketing
Seniors Housing,
a text published by the National Association of Home Builders.
Prior
to forming The Ehlers Group, she was an executive-level marketing
and public relations professional for two major United States real
estate development corporations: Levitt & Sons, developer of the
northeastern United States Levittowns and active adult communities;
and Cenville Communities, Inc., creator of Century Village, the forerunner
of adult recreational condominium communities in Florida.
Janis
holds a B.S. degree in Journalism from the University of Florida and
a M.B.A. from Nova Southeastern University.
Sharon
R. Galler, Affiliate Partner
An
affiliate partner with The Ehlers Group and president of STAT Association
Marketing and Management, Inc., Sharon has more than 20 years experience
developing and executing marketing and promotion programs for trade
associations representing a wide range of interests and disciplines.
The firm offers a complement of services to clients of The Ehlers
Group including telemarketing and surveying.
Sharon
is a graduate of Florida International University with a B.S. degree
in marketing and is a certified meeting planner.
Kerry
Green, Account Manager
Kerry
works closely with the management team to strategize communications
efforts and special event implementation.
A
graduate of Florida A & M University with a B.S. degree in Journalism,
she works proactively on clients’ behalf to generate new pitches
and story ideas. Kerry writes and edits a wide variety of PR and marketing
materials including press releases, newsletters and feature stories.
She also supports clients’ sales and marketing initiatives.
